Fulham Move Brings Financial Boost for Milan as Chukwueze Deal Sealed

AC Milan are set to receive a welcome financial boost following Fulham FC’s decision to make Samuel Chukwueze’s move permanent. The deal is expected to bring in around €24 million, offering Milan some relief as they reshape their squad.
Chukwueze originally joined Milan from Villarreal CF in 2023 for a fee exceeding €21 million, with additional bonuses potentially increasing the total cost. Despite arriving with high expectations, the Nigerian winger struggled to consistently deliver, registering modest numbers during his time in Italy.
Across 70 appearances for the Rossoneri, Chukwueze managed eight goals and six assists. While there were flashes of his attacking ability, his overall impact fell short of what the club had hoped for, leading to questions about his long-term role in the team.
A loan move to Fulham in September 2025 offered him a fresh start, with the Premier League side securing an option to buy at the end of the season. His performances in England have been steady rather than spectacular, producing three goals and four assists in 19 matches, yet enough to convince Fulham to proceed with a permanent transfer.
One standout moment came when he scored twice against Manchester City, highlighting his potential to influence big matches. While the final transfer fee is slightly below earlier expectations, Milan will still benefit from the incoming funds as they look ahead to future plans.
