Real Madrid Secure Endrick's Future as Loan Spell at Lyon Boosts Confidence
Endrick Felipe is set to remain at Real Madrid next season after an encouraging loan spell at Olympique Lyon. The young Brazilian striker initially struggled for playing time at the start of the campaign, which led to his temporary move away from the Spanish club in search of regular minutes.
During his time in France, Endrick has delivered a positive impact, registering six goals and six assists in 16 appearances across all competitions. His performances have helped him regain confidence and demonstrate his potential at senior level.
According to reports from Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, Real Madrid have now decided not to entertain offers for the 19-year-old ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. The club sees him as an important part of their long-term project and is prepared to integrate him back into the squad.
Discussions between Endrick's camp and the club will continue after the season ends, but the current stance is that a departure is no longer being considered. Real Madrid have reportedly convinced the player that he has a meaningful role to play in the team's future plans.
Since joining from Palmeiras in 2024, Endrick has made 40 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. With further changes expected in the attacking lineup, he is projected to serve as an important backup option behind Kylian Mbappé, strengthening the club's depth for the seasons ahead.
