Premier League Giants Tottenham and Manchester United Eye Rising South Korean Striker Oh Hyeon-gyu
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring South Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu, who currently plays for Turkish side Beşiktaş. Both Premier League clubs have a long history of featuring notable South Korean players, which adds further interest to this potential transfer link.
The interest comes from reports in Turkey suggesting that Beşiktaş could profit from a potential sale of the striker, who was signed for around €14 million. Although still relatively new to European top-level spotlight, Oh has been steadily building his reputation since moving from Genk in Belgium.
His recent form in Turkey has been impressive, with six goals and one assist in just nine league appearances. Across the entire season, including his time at Genk, he has accumulated 17 goals and five assists in all competitions, showing consistent attacking output.
Since his transfer to Beşiktaş, his performances have improved further, leading to growing speculation about a possible move to the Premier League. Both Tottenham and Manchester United are believed to be exploring attacking reinforcements ahead of the summer transfer window.
Beşiktaş may consider cashing in if his value continues to rise, especially if he performs well for South Korea in upcoming international competitions. While a move to England would represent a major step forward in his career, any concrete developments are expected closer to the next transfer window.
