Bayern Munich Eyes Bremer as Juventus Considers Kim Min-jae Swap Option
Bayern Munich is reportedly targeting Juventus defender Gleison Bremer ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. At the same time, Juventus is said to be monitoring Bayern center-back Kim Min-jae as the Italian club prepares for major changes following a disappointing 2025/2026 season.
Juventus finished sixth in the Serie A standings, missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League and settling for a place in the Europa League next season. The failure to reach Europe's top competition is expected to affect the club financially and could force management to reconsider several transfer decisions during the summer.
Despite the setback, head coach Luciano Spalletti still wants to strengthen the squad in order to improve results next season. Juventus is believed to be planning a squad overhaul, and several important players could leave Turin as part of the restructuring process. Bremer has emerged as one of the names attracting strong interest from abroad.
The Brazilian defender remained one of Juventus' most reliable players throughout the season and played a key role in the team's defense. However, Bayern Munich is reportedly ready to pursue a move for the center-back, whose contract includes a release clause valued between 54 and 58 million euros. The Bundesliga giants are looking to reinforce their back line ahead of the new campaign.
Meanwhile, Juventus is considering Kim Min-jae as a possible replacement. The South Korean defender previously worked under Luciano Spalletti during their successful period at Napoli, making him a familiar option for the coach. Reports from Italy suggest Juventus could attempt to include a loan deal for Kim Min-jae as part of any potential transfer agreement involving Bremer and Bayern Munich.
