​Indonesia U-19 Unveils 23-Man Squad as Defending Champions Prepare for AFF U-19 2026

Indonesia U-19 head coach Nova Arianto has officially announced a 23-player squad for the AFF U-19 Championship 2026, which will take place in Medan, North Sumatra. Entering the tournament as the defending champions, the young Garuda side is aiming to retain its title on home soil. The squad features several familiar faces who have become key figures in the national youth setup, including Evandra Florasta, Arkhan Kaka, Dafa Al Gasemi, and highly rated Persipura Jayapura prospect Reno Salampessy.
The final roster also highlights players who impressed at club level, particularly members of Persija Jakarta’s successful EPA U-19 campaign. In addition, Nova has strengthened the team with a number of overseas-based talents. Established diaspora players such as Mathew Baker, Amar Brkic, and Welber Jardim remain important parts of the squad, while newcomers Eizar Jacob, Timothy Baker, and Zinadein have earned opportunities to showcase their abilities and compete for a significant role during the regional tournament.
