England to Receive Unprecedented Security Protection at the World Cup

According to a report by the British media outlet The Sun on June 1, the England national team will receive unprecedented security protection during the World Cup. Measures will include anti-sniper screening and counter-drone systems, making it the most heavily secured World Cup campaign in history.
The hotel where the England squad stays will be transformed into a “virtual fortress,” with concrete barriers and privacy screens installed around the perimeter to block any potential hostile surveillance. To prevent drone interference, the venue will be placed under a no-fly zone, and a dedicated command center will be established opposite the hotel.
In addition, armed police officers, security personnel, and private bodyguards will patrol around the team’s base camp in Tennessee. More screening barriers will also be erected to prevent neighboring residents in nearby apartment buildings from observing the squad from as close as 500 yards away.
Given the high crime rate in Tennessee and concerns over possible terrorist threats, security measures will be significantly stricter. Police will escort the England team bus between the hotel and the training facilities of the Tennessee Titans. The bus itself will also be protected against drone threats.
An insider close to the England camp said:
“The safety and security of the players, staff, and their families is the top priority. The precautions being taken in the United States represent another level of protection. Wherever the players go, there will effectively be a mobile security cordon around them. The team hotel will be turned into a virtual fortress.”
