Belgium stage a stunning comeback from 0–2 down to defeat Senegal 3–2

In the first half, Diarra broke the deadlock. In the second half, Sarr doubled the lead. In the final minutes of normal time, Lukaku and Tielemans scored back-to-back within three minutes to level the match. In extra time, Tielemans converted a penalty to complete the comeback. Full time: Belgium came from two goals down to win 3–2 against Senegal and advance to the Round of 16.
In the 21st minute, Sarr’s header hit the post, and Habib Diarra scored from the rebound to give Senegal a 1–0 lead over Belgium.

In the 51st minute, Niakaté delivered a diagonal long pass from the back, and Sarr struck a powerful finish to score, extending Senegal’s lead to 2–0 over Belgium.

In the 86th minute, Meunier delivered a cross from the wing, and Lukaku pulled one back for Belgium, making it 2–1 against Senegal.

In the 89th minute, Trossard provided the assist and Tielemans headed in the equaliser, bringing Belgium level at 2–2 against Senegal.
