Dewa United Overhauls Squad as 10 Players Depart Ahead of New Season

Dewa United have officially begun reshaping their squad for the 2026/27 season by parting ways with 10 players following a review of last season's campaign. The club's major overhaul reflects its ambition to build a stronger team capable of competing at a higher level in the upcoming Liga 1 season.

Several well-known names are among those leaving the Banten Warriors, including Stefano Lilipaly, Septian Bagaskara, Wahyu Prasetyo, Hugo Gomes, Kodai Tanaka, Rizdjar Nurviat, Feby Eka Putra, Yofandani Pranata, Rangga Muslim, and Muhammad Natshir. The departures come through different arrangements, including the end of loan spells, expiring contracts, loan moves to other clubs, and mutual separations.

Three loan players will return to their parent clubs after Dewa United decided not to extend their temporary deals. Stefano Lilipaly heads back to Borneo FC, Kodai Tanaka returns to Persis Solo, and Rizdjar Nurviat rejoins PSMS Medan as the club concludes their loan agreements.

Meanwhile, four players have left after their contracts expired, while Rangga Muslim and Muhammad Natshir have been loaned to PSMS Medan for the 2026/27 campaign. The club believes the temporary moves will provide both players with more regular playing time and valuable experience to support their future development.

Brazilian midfielder Hugo Gomes, better known as Jaja, has also ended his two-year spell with Dewa United after bidding farewell to the club. With these departures confirmed, Dewa United are expected to remain active in the transfer market as they continue rebuilding the squad ahead of the new season.
