AC Milan Target Ermedin Demirovic as Ruben Amorim Seeks a Powerful January Striker

AC Milan are reportedly considering a move for Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic as they prepare for the January transfer window. The Bosnia international has emerged as a potential priority for the Rossoneri, with Ruben Amorim reportedly keen to add more strength and presence to the centre-forward position.

The potential deal could prove complicated because Stuttgart are believed to value Demirovic at a minimum of €35 million. Despite the significant asking price, Milan are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing the striker to San Siro and could make him one of their main targets when the winter market opens.

Milan’s interest in Demirovic is not new. The striker was previously linked with the Italian club in July 2025, when his estimated value stood between €20 million and €25 million. Since joining Stuttgart from Augsburg in 2024, the Hamburg-born forward has remained under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2028, giving Stuttgart a strong negotiating position.

Demirovic has also started the current campaign in impressive fashion, scoring four goals in five appearances across the Bundesliga and Champions League. His standout moment came against Viking last week, when he produced a remarkable hat-trick in just 12 minutes, further highlighting his ability to make an immediate impact in the final third.

The possible arrival of Demirovic would also have implications for Milan’s attacking options, particularly young forward Francesco Camarda. Amorim reportedly sees the teenager as a developing player who can provide support for Goncalo Ramos, while also allowing the team to use alternative attacking systems. Milan’s interest in Demirovic therefore reflects a desire to add another physical and experienced option without necessarily changing Camarda’s long-term role.
