Bayern Munich Could Cash In on Michael Olise if New Contract Cannot Be Secured

Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to consider selling Michael Olise if they fail to reach an agreement on a new contract with the French winger. Although the 24-year-old remains tied to the German champions until the summer of 2029, his impressive performances over the past two seasons have attracted growing interest from several of Europe's biggest clubs.

Olise has quickly become one of Bayern's most important attacking players since arriving from Crystal Palace. His consistency and influence in the final third have increased his value, while his growing reputation has made his long-term future an increasingly important issue for the Bundesliga giants. Bayern are therefore keen to secure improved terms before the situation becomes more complicated.

According to reports from Bild football chief Christian Falk, Bayern would prefer to keep Olise but may not want to allow his contract situation to become a financial risk. The club is also expected to use its broader plans for the squad as part of its efforts to convince the winger to remain in Munich, particularly with Harry Kane's future also viewed as an important factor in the club's long-term ambitions.

Real Madrid are among the clubs linked with a potential move for Olise, although Bayern could take some comfort from the Spanish side's European performances. If Madrid fail to make significant progress in the Champions League, the attraction of a move to the Spanish capital could become less compelling for the French international.

Should Bayern eventually decide that selling Olise is the best option, his potential transfer fee could exceed €150 million. The German club would be reluctant to risk losing such a valuable asset for a reduced fee later in his contract, making the next stages of negotiations crucial as Bayern look to determine whether Olise will remain a key part of their future.
