Bhayangkara Presisi FC has made a significant decision to relocate its headquarters to Lampung for the upcoming 2025-26 Liga 1 season. This change was formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the club's CEO, Irjen Pol AgusSuryonugroho, and Lampung Governor RahmatMirzaniDjausal. The agreement designates StadionSumpahPemuda in Bandar Lampung as the club’s new home. The move marks a milestone for both the club and the province, with hopes that the presence of a top-tier team will further energize local football.
Governor RahmatMirzaniDjausal expressed pride in welcoming a Liga 1 team to Lampung, emphasizing the positive impact the club would have on the province's football scene. He noted that Bhayangkara FC’s move would not only raise the profile of the sport in the region but also unite the local community around football. This partnership aims to enhance the sports culture in Lampung, and the governor pledged full support for the club’s efforts.
In return, CEO AgusSuryonugroho expressed excitement over the new collaboration, calling it a historic moment for both Bhayangkara FC and the province. The club, which has had various home bases in the past, including during its 2017 Liga 1 championship, now looks forward to a fresh chapter in Lampung. The team will compete under the new name BhayangkaraPresisi Lampung FC and is expected to officially present the change at an upcoming PSSI congress.
