As the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season nears its end, various prestigious awards are set to be announced, including best player, top scorer, best young player, and best coach. Among a total of eight award categories, only two include Indonesian nationals as nominees. Egy Maulana Vikri is the sole local player nominated for Best Player, standing out among a lineup dominated by foreign talents. His competitors include standout performers like Ryo Matsumura, Tyronne del Pino, and Dalberto Luan Belo, who have all played pivotal roles for their respective clubs.

In the Best Coach category, Imran Nahumarury is the only local name among a field of prominent foreign coaches. His impressive achievement of guiding Malut United not only to promotion but also into the top three of Liga 1 highlights his strong candidacy. He faces stiff competition from seasoned names like Bojan Hodak, who led Persib Bandung to back-to-back championships, and other experienced tacticians such as Jan Olde Riekerink and Angel Alfredo Vera. The final winners will be revealed after the season concludes on May 24, 2025.

Top Scorer Nominees:
Alex Martins from Dewa United FC leads the race with an impressive 23 goals in 24 matches. Following him is Gustavo Almeida of Persija Jakarta, who has scored 18 goals across 27 appearances. Tyronne del Pino, representing Persib Bandung, completes the list with 17 goals in 30 games.

Best Player Nominees:
Several standout performers have been shortlisted for the season’s top individual honor. The list includes Mariano Peralta from Borneo FC Samarinda, Egy Maulana Vikri of Dewa United FC, and Tyronne del Pino from Persib Bandung. Other nominees are Dalberto Luan Belo of Arema FC, Igor Rodrigues of Persita Tangerang, and Victor Luiz from PSM Makassar. Completing the group are Gustavo Franca of Persib Bandung, Ryo Matsumura from Persija Jakarta, and Dewa United’s goalkeeper, Sonny Stevens.

Best Young Player Nominees:
The young talent category features promising names such as Achmad Maulana Syarif, Arkhan Fikri, and Salim Tuharea, all from Arema FC. Best Coach Nominees:
Recognized for their tactical brilliance and leadership, the coaching nominees include Bojan Hodak from Persib Bandung and Imran Nahumarury of Malut United FC. Jan Olde Riekerink, who has managed Dewa United FC, is also on the list. Other contenders are Ong Kim Swee from Persis Solo, Angel Alfredo Vera of Madura United FC, and PSM Makassar’s Bernardo Tavares.

Fair Play Team Nominees:
The fair play category highlights teams with the best disciplinary records. PSM Makassar leads with 64 points, having received 61 yellow cards and 1 red card. Malut United FC follows with 68 points, accumulating 56 yellow cards and 4 reds. PSIS Semarang earned 75 points with 57 yellow cards and 6 red cards. Persik Kediri rounds out the list with 77 points, having been shown 62 yellow cards and 5 red cards.
