Brazilian Goalkeeper Adilson Maringa Parts Ways with Bali United After Two Seasons

Bali United has officially announced the departure of their Brazilian goalkeeper, Adilson Maringa, marking the end of his two-season stint with the club. Initially joining in July 2023 from Arema FC, Maringa quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for the team during the 2024-25 Liga 1 season.
Despite being a regular starter with 29 appearances, Maringa’s performance fell short of expectations. He conceded 37 goals and managed only six clean sheets throughout the season. These statistics highlighted a season filled with defensive challenges for both Maringa and the team.
The decision for Maringa’s exit came as a mutual agreement between the player and the club’s management. In his farewell remarks, Maringa expressed gratitude to head coach Stefano Cugurra, the coaching staff, and Bali United’s executives for their trust and support. His final appearance came in a match against Persebaya, which served as his official send-off.
Club CEO Yabes Tanuri extended appreciation for Maringa’s contributions during his tenure. Recognizing the dedication and effort shown by the goalkeeper over the past two seasons, the club wished him success in the next chapter of his professional career, officially closing his time with Bali United.
