Fenerbahce Eyes Moise Kean as Fiorentina Faces Looming Release Clause Deadline
Fenerbahce has reportedly expressed interest in signing Fiorentina striker Moise Kean during the current transfer window. The Turkish club has made initial inquiries about the Italian forward, who remains under contract with Fiorentina until June 2029, as it explores options to strengthen its attack.
Kean joined Fiorentina from Juventus in the summer of 2024 for a reported transfer fee of €13 million. During the previous season, he featured in 37 matches across all competitions and contributed 10 Serie A goals along with four assists, demonstrating his value when available.
Despite his attacking contributions, recurring injury problems have affected his consistency and limited his role within the squad. His situation has attracted additional attention because his contract includes a €62 million release clause that is only valid between July 1 and July 15.
The limited activation period means any club interested in signing Kean must act quickly before the clause expires. Once the deadline passes, Fiorentina will regain full control over the transfer negotiations and could demand a different transfer fee.
In addition to Fenerbahce, several Premier League clubs are believed to be monitoring the striker's situation. However, no formal offers have been submitted so far, while Fiorentina's new head coach, Fabio Grosso, is expected to assess the squad during preseason before making any decisions regarding Kean's future.
